                             Zdravstvuite!  I was born
and raised in Kyrgystan, a country in Central Asia.
Although Russian is no longer the State Language, I
was raised during the Soviet and post Soviet times
when Russian was the official language.
Since my childhood I have wanted
to travel widely and learn foreign languages.
We studied English in school and I enjoyed learning
it and decided to become a language teacher, so I
attended Osh State University where I majored in
							foreign language teaching.
							Before graduating I taught
English to the UN World Food Programme staff in
Kyrgystan.  After graduating I went to work in
Germany to improve my knowledge of the German
language and German culture.  After that I
decided to go to the US and now love living here
							with my husband!
I started teaching Russian in the
US and now I also teach Russian language at LanguageArts!
							I really enjoy teaching and
strive to pay attention to all my students'
individual needs and help them work on those
specific areas that will most contribute to their
							progress.
							Do svidaniia!
